Network : RATP
Metro, RER, tramway, bus... Paris's public transport network serves the city and its suburbs.
Metro: 16 lines, 300 stations, fast and economical, from 6 a.m. to about 0.45 a.m. (or 1.45 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays); recognizable by the yellow "M" at the entrance.
RER: 5 lines (A to E) for Paris and the Ile-de-France region; from 6 a.m. to 0.45 a.m. approx.
Tramway: 13 lines serving the city's periphery and part of the Île-de-France region
Bus: Monday to Saturday, 7 a.m. to midnight (approx.); route number and direction are indicated on the front and sides of the bus. The Noctilien night bus service operates in and around Paris from 0.30am to around 5.30am.
Easy Pass: practical option for occasional journeys, preloaded for 10 journeys
Pass Paris visite: visit Paris freely, by metro, RER, streetcar and bus; 1, 2, 3 or 5 days
Pass Navigo Découverte: for occasional or regular travellers; weekly pass (Monday>Sunday), personal, non-transferable
