In the area of the former shipyards, Les Machines de l’ïle is inspired by the world of Jules Verne.
The famous elephant moves forward, flicks his ears and sprays water from his trunk at the amused spectators. You can even climb on the pachyderm!

We love: the historic and national dimension of the place, its grandiose architecture, the impressive Foucault Pendulum, the crypt and the dome (with a breathtaking view of the Eiffel Tower! ).

We love: 3 youth hostels in Paris, former 17th-century aristocratic residences located just a few minutes’ walk from Ile Saint Louis and Notre Dame.

We love: the welcoming setting, the communal areas, the size of the rooms, the rooftop for relaxing and the proximity of the Canal St Martin!

We like: its recentness (opened in 2019), its large capacity, the spacious common areas, the many services (bar, shared kitchen, self-service snacks and drinks, games room, packed lunches, laundry…).

We like: the streetcar at the foot of the hotel, the proximity of the center (a 20-minute walk for the brave!) and the spacious, well-equipped rooms.

We love: what a place! They’ve thought of everything! We had a pleasant stay because the quality was there at every level: welcome, decor, bedding, cleanliness, meals, atmosphere…..
